“It feels great to be back,” said Patrick O'Neil, NYLO Hotels' Executive Vice President. “We're happy to officially put the flood behind us and we look forward to celebrating with our friends in the community. We've spent the last month in a soft opening mode, and now were ready to re-introduce NYLO to the public. We're no ordinary hotel. We offer an eclectic vibe with high-end extras and tech-friendly lodging that's sociable and fun.”
NYLO Providence/Warwick officially re-opened on Monday, August 15, 2011 after more than 12 months of reconstruction to the property's first floor following Rhode Island's historic floods in March 2010. The newly restored areas of the unique loft lifestyle hotel in Warwick include the front desk, lobby, meeting rooms, and The Loft - NYLO's signature ultra-social living area with state-of-the-art business center, library, and stylish bar and restaurant serving sophisticated comfort cuisine.

The NYLO Providence/Warwick was forced to temporarily close it doors after heavy rains soaked Rhode Island for weeks in March 2010, causing the Pawtuxet River in Warwick to crest and dump more than four feet of water into the hotel's first floor. As a result, the hotel experienced extensive damages to its entire first floor.
Today NYLO Providence/Warwick is back up and running as operations have been fully restored and the hotel has started accepting reservations. The property has also named a new leadership team and is expected to hire 20 new employees.
NYLO Providence/Warwick made its debut in September 2008 as the first property in New England for loft lifestyle hotel innovator, NYLO Hotels. The hotel offers 163 guestrooms and more than 1,166 square feet of meeting and event space. Each guest loft has 300 square feet of bright, airy living space, with 10-foot-plus ceilings, exposed brick walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Its signature ultra-social living area, The Loft, features a state-of-the-art business center, comfortable working library, and a stylish bar and restaurant serving sophisticated comfort cuisine.
Overlooking the scenic Pawtuxet River, NYLO Providence/Warwick sits on the northeast corner of Greenwich Avenue/Route 5 and Knight Street in historic Pontiac Mills. The hotel is convenient to TF Green International Airport; Rhode Island's leading retail corridor, Route 2; golf courses; parks; marinas; and some of New England's most popular beaches spread along Warwick's 39 miles of coastline.
