Singapore - September 26, 2011 - Orchard Hotel Singapore has unveiled its new Claymore Wing. All 331 guestrooms in the Claymore Wing have undergone a full refurbishment which includes its Executive Club Floors.

The new Executive Suites, Executive Club Rooms and Deluxe Rooms are contemporary-styled and elegantly designed with timber flooring and furnished to provide the best of living styles to the sophisticated traveller. Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel, which makes it convenient to stay in touch with the office and the home. The Executive Club Lounge located on the 17th Floor offers a commanding view of the Claymore and Orchard precincts and was refurnished to complement this stylish makeover.

A member of the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C), Orchard Hotel's refurbishment is part of the group's organic growth through an asset enhancement scheme. As the global economy recovers from the financial crisis, the hospitality industry in Singapore has picked up with business hotels seeing an increase in occupancy.

Tailored along an innovative blend of Western decor and furnishing with contemporary art pieces, the newly refurbished Deluxe Rooms provide travellers with the comfort of home-away-from-home. The colour palette of grey and white with trendy pieces such as canary yellow cushions on the modern arm chairs and dark brown lamp shades add an elegant finish to the rooms.

Each room boasts sleek audio and visual equipment which include: Iphone and Ipod connectivity adaptive radio; an array of media connections which include HDMI, USB, and PC Link allowing guests to project their laptop data on the room's 40” LED TV screen; as well as universal adaptors. The bathroom features a drop-in shower stall and sunken long bath.

Enjoy personal touches such as a pillow menu comprising more than 10 different types of pillows to choose from; from feather, therapeutic, anti-snore, hypoallergenic, beads, high density foam, cotton to buck wheat. Other unique services include IT butler and laundry storage service.
