Glenwood Hot Springs Announces New Director of Sales and Revenue

Glenwood Springs, CO - November 15, 2011 - Glenwood Hot Springs, famous for its enormous hot springs pool and award-winning Spa of the Rockies, has named Jeremy Gilley as its new Director of Sales and Revenue. Gilley brings with him a proven record of results with extensive experience in the tourism industry. Gilley's consistent history of success in the hospitality and tourism field since 2003 made him the natural choice for this position. Gilley joined the Glenwood Hot Springs team on November 7.

Gilley, most recently served at the Director of Revenue at the Hotel Colorado, another venerable Glenwood Springs property where he helped contribute to a 26 percent occupancy increase to date in 2011. Gilley graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Since 2003, Gilley has worked in the hospitality industry in Oklahoma and Colorado building relationships with key corporate, travel and tour companies and growing revenue through a variety of avenues including trend forecasting, yield management and marketing and budgeting strategies. In addition to extensive experience, Gilley brings exceptional people skills to his new position as well. His communication, team building and organizational skills will be a valuable asset in his position as Director of Sales and Revenue.

Gilley's new responsibilities will encompass the entire Glenwood Hot Springs property including the newly remodeled 107-room Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge, the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, the award-winning Spa of the Rockies, Glenwood Hot Springs Athletic Club, the Sport Shop and the Grill. He will be responsible for developing overall strategic sales plans, targeting and initiating action plans to secure new and enhanced revenue opportunities, building community relations, as well as for promotions, special events, internal staff sales training, advertising and sales calls. Gilley will also act as a marketing liaison with Glenwood Hot Springs' outside marketing and public relations firms.
