Four Seasons Resorts Maldives at Kuda Huraa Welcomes New GM

Febraury 22, 2012 - As we prepare to say goodbye to Kuda Huraa's outgoing general manager, Sanjiv Hulugalle, it's time to extend a warm island welcome to Tulio Hochkoeppler who'll be taking over from March 2012.

Tulio joins the Maldives team from Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, where he had been hotel manager since July 2010. His Four Seasons experience dates back to 1995 at Four Seasons Hotel New York, and has since seen him embrace roles including front office manager in Los Angeles, director of rooms in Buenos Aires and Carmelo, and hotel manager in Miami.

Tulio is a U.S. citizen, fluent in Spanish with basic knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese. He graduated in Hospitality Management from Cornell and is married to Diana, with a young daughter, Stella. In addition to fully embracing “being a Dad” these past two years, his passions include travelling to new destinations, reading, cooking for the family at home and racing sailboats. As he heads to Kuda Huraa's secluded shores, however, he may have to swop his tango skills for Boduberu, and his golf for scuba diving …

Welcome Tulio, Diana and Stella - we are delighted to have you on board. And goodbye and thank you to Sanjiv, Alice, Catherine and Savannah; we wish you every success for your onward move to Four Seasons Hotel Beijing.
