Hyatt North Houston Adds Two Key Staff Members

HOUSTON, Texas - May 1, 2012 - The newly rebranded Hyatt North Houston announced today that it has hired an Executive Chef, Will Hardy , and a Catering Sales Manager, Takara Crawford .

Will Hardy started his life in the kitchen at the young age of twelve, and eighteen years later, he conquered the “$10 million monster” that is the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Hardy is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation. He has competed and medaled in more than 10 American Culinary Federation-sponsored cooking competitions in both hot, cold and mystery categories. Hardy's philosophy on food is "fresh, simple and to the point." With his clean and simple approach to food, Hyatt North Houston and Grill 425 guests can expect to find perfectly roasted chicken and fish with a crisp skin that are not overpowered with a heavy sauce.

Takara Crawford joins Hyatt North Houston with more than nine years of comprehensive hospitality experience with a career focus on hotel sales. Prior to joining the Davidson Hotel Company, Crawford served as the Catering Sales Manager at many upscale hotels in Houston including the Settle Inn Hotel & Conference Center. Her hotel experience combined with her education in Sales and Marketing has prepared her for the responsibilities as the Catering Sales Manager.
