Todd Wynne-Parry Named SVP of Global Hotel Development and Acquisitions for Trump Collection
July 18, 2012 - Wynne-Parry's arrival is one of two tactical moves by TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION this month that place key hotel development leaders in position to spearhead the brand's worldwide expansion.
Signaling an intent to aggressively expand its global footprint, TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION™ has appointed Todd Wynne-Parry to the new role of senior vice president of global hotel development and acquisitions. Wynne-Parry's arrival is one of two tactical moves by TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION this month that place key hotel development leaders in position to spearhead the brand's worldwide expansion.
Wynne-Parry brings to his position 25 years of senior-level development experience with several major hotel brands. He will take charge of TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION's strategic hotel development in key cities and resorts worldwide. Serena Rakhlin, TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION's vice president of hotel development and acquisitions, will lead the targeted effort throughout the Americas.

A dual citizen of the United States and Australia, Wynne-Parry joins TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION from Pan Pacific Hotels Group in San Francisco, where he served as vice president development for North America. In the Asia/Pacific and Oceania regions, he has successfully driven acquisitions and development efforts for InterContinental Hotels Group, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and Marriott International. Wynne-Parry launched his career in 1989 at leading hotel, resort and tourism consulting firm Laventhol & Horwath in San Diego, serving as a senior consultant before moving on to Hong Kong, where he directed Horwath Asia Pacific's hotel consulting practice.
Wynne-Parry holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz.
TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION opened its first international location, Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower Panama in Panama City, in July 2011, which was followed by Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto in January 2012.
In February, TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION was selected by the U.S. General Services Administration as the preferred developer of The Old Post Office Building in Washington, D.C., one of the most sought-after hotel development projects in the United States. It also recently acquired and assumed management of the iconic Doral Golf Resort & Spa Miami - including the legendary Blue Monster golf course - and has initiated a two-year, $200 million comprehensive renovation that will restore the inimitable property to the grandeur of its heyday.
