Florida's Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate to Add 55,000 Square-foot Conference Center

ORLANDO, FL - August 8, 2012 - The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is partnering with Osceola County to offer a new 55,000-square-foot conference center for meeting attendees, exhibit goers, brides-to-be and event planners alike. Scheduled to open in January 2013, the new state-of-the-art addition to the luxury resort will add more than 46,000 square feet to the existing award-winning event space, resulting in more than 100,000 square feet in total.
The crown jewel of the new convention center will be the 28,800-square-foot ballroom ideal for weddings, private and corporate events. The ballroom will accommodate up to 150 10' x10' exhibits or can break out to eight flexible meeting rooms. Advanced communications and computer technology, open pre-function area, an event lawn and a large loading dock for easy setup have also been incorporated into the design of the upcoming conference center.

Upon completion, Omni Orlando Resort will offer meeting planners and attendees more than 128,000 square feet of indoor event space and an additional 52,000 square feet of outdoor space. Three ballrooms ranging from 20,000 to 28,800 square feet will accommodate the largest of conventions and events. In addition, a total of 46 well appointed meeting rooms welcome groups of nearly all sizes.
