Hyatt Deerfield Completes Renovation

. September 20, 2012

September 20, 2012 - In an effort to provide the best hospitality to its guests, the Hyatt Deerfield Hotel is excited to announce that it has completed a $5.5 million renovation of the hotel. The renovations focused on improving the overall guest experience by revamping the lobby, restaurant, meeting space and guest rooms.

The lobby of the Hyatt Deerfield Hotel was completely renovated to display a more polished and comfortable look that included changes to furniture, decorative lighting, the registration desk and artwork. Additionally, the lobby floors were brought to one level to create a better flow from space to space. The existing water fountain and sculpture were transformed into an infinity style water feature surrounded by oversized furniture for guests to relax in.

The Jaxx Bistro was improved to reflect its personality, with new furniture, bold new paint colors and a buffet space that can be closed off when not in use. The style is very clean and comfortable.

All of the guest rooms at the Hyatt Deerfield received updates to soft goods, new upholstered furniture, Hyatt Luxury Bed Tops and 36” LG flat panel TVs.

The existing Le Clair Ballroom was given new a new ceiling and updated finishes to create a comfortable environment for guests.

Located just minutes from both downtown Chicago and O'Hare Airport, the 301-room Hyatt Deerfield features 15,000 square feet of function space, a StayFit gym center, an indoor pool, concierge services and a full-service business center.

Adam Patenaude, the Hyatt Deerfield General Manager, is thrilled with the updates.

“First impressions are everything, especially in the hotel business, and we wanted our guests to see a polished, mobile, warm and inviting space as they enter the hotel,” said Patenaude. “The improved public space and guest rooms at the Hyatt Deerfield will create an enhanced experience for our guests.”

Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality, one of the nation's leading independent hotel investment and management firms, manages the hotel and oversaw the renovations.
