Hotel Equities Promotes Foster to Sales Coach
ATLANTA, GA - September 21, 2012 - Hotel Equities recently promoted Malinda Foster to Sales Coach for a number of hotels in the firm's portfolio. She reports directly to Hotel Equities Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Elizabeth Derby. (www.hotelequities.com)
Ms. Foster has responsibility for managing all facets of hotel sales and marketing above the property level for the hotels under her direction. She supports, trains and mentors a group of the firm's Directors of Sales and makes sure that they are well-versed in brand practices, guest satisfaction and the Hotel Equities' culture and mission.

For the past five years, Ms. Foster has served as Director of Sales for the Courtyard Buford in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Last year, the Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau named her the Industry Professional of the Year, the highest honor given annually. Prior to joining Hotel Equities, Ms. Foster served as Sales Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott-Buckhead/Lenox Park where she was responsible for increasing the hotel's overall revenue.
Active in the community, Ms. Foster volunteers for Children's Miracle Network, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Women's Ministry of her church.
Ms. Foster attended Jacksonville State University where she studied Communications. A resident of Dacula in Gwinnett County, she and her husband Danny are the parents of a son.
