Beaver Creek's Westin Riverfront Hires New Director of Catering & Conference Services
November 7, 2012 - The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce that it has hired Stacey Romer to serve as Director of Catering & Conference Services and Beth Olson to serve as Catering & Conference Services Manager.
With more than a dozen years of hospitality sales and catering experience, Romer most recently served as the Operations Manager for the Vail office of Rocky Mountain Connections DMC. She previously served as an Assistant Manager and Event Lead for Vail's Mountain Catering, Inc. and Assistant Restaurant Manager at Beaver Creek's SaddleRidge. A graduate of the University of Colorado of Boulder, Romer also worked as an Account Manager for Beaver Creek's Group Sales & Services and as Manager of Information Services at the Vail Valley Tourism & Convention Bureau.
Olson brings more than 11 years of hospitality industry experience to The Westin Riverfront, most recently serving as a Banquet Captain at the Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail. She previously worked as an Account Manager for Vail Resorts, Inc. and as Catering Sales Manager for Piggy's Restaurant, Banquet Manager for Pettibone Resort and Catering Manager for the Best Western Inn on the Park, all in Wisconsin.
