Dow Names GM of Hilton Bellevue
BELLEVUE, WA, March 1, 2007. The Dow Hotel Company today announced that Michael Pitstick has been named general manager of the Hilton Hotel Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash., effective today. Pitstick most recently was Dow's vice president of sales and marketing.

"The Hilton Bellevue has one of the city's largest meeting facilities, which means we will attract groups from around the world. His depth of experience will help the hotel to expand its leadership position in the market."
Prior to joining The Dow Hotel Company, Pitstick was vice president of sales & marketing for Radisson Hotels in their managed hotels division. He also served as corporate director of sales and marketing for Boykin Hotels and Ridgewood Hotels, and has held director of sales and marketing positions at a number of four-star resort and convention hotels. Pitstick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Purdue University.
Pitstick joins the hotel on the heels of an $8 million dollar renovation and conversion of the hotel from the Doubletree brand to a Hilton Hotel in June 2006. The 353-room property features 24,000 square feet of versatile meeting and banquet facilities that can accommodate events for up to 2,500 guests. The meeting space includes the area's largest hotel ballroom and the new 4,000 square-foot Skyview room, added during the renovation. The hotel also features 35,000 square feet of enclosed exhibit space, Basil's Kitchen, a signature Dow restaurant, Basil's Bar and Tully's, a coffee bar in the atrium lobby. Newly renovated rooms include a large work desk and wireless high-speed Internet.
