Fontainebleau Miami Beach $1bil Renovation Tops Off

MIAMI BEACH, FL, March 1, 2007. Executives from Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Coscan Construction recently gathered to commemorate the topping off of Fontainebleau's newest luxury tower. The 18-story, 286 all-suite tower being constructed on the south end of the property is part of the legendary Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort's ongoing $1 billion renovation and expansion.

Boasting spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach and the resort's sophisticated and exciting new pool scape, the tower will include elegantly furnished junior and one-bedroom suites ranging in size from 550 to 1,742 square feet, plus balconies. Completion is scheduled for fall 2007.

"We are excited to reach this important milestone in the rebirth of this one-of-a-kind resort," said David Feder, President and General Manager for Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Once the Fontainebleau's renovation and expansio in is fully complete in mid-2008, the 1,504-room complex will include a world-class 40,000-square-foot spa, 11 restaurants and lounges, 58 meeting rooms totaling 107,000 square feet, 42,000 square feet of pre-function areas and 51,000 square feet of space for hosting a variety of outdoor functions.

Today, the first phase of the renovation and expansion project operates as Fontainebleau Suites Miami Beach, a 37-story luxury tower at the south end of the resort property offering 462 studio, one- and two-bedroom suites, along with a 4,300-square-foot penthouse ideal for small executive meetings and retreats.
