Hyatt West Hollywood Gets $24mil Refurb

MARCH 22, 2007. Hyatt West Hollywood, renowned for itsrich music and celebrity history, will begin a $24 million renovation including guestrooms, suites and corridors, the lobby, the 24-hour StayFit@Hyatt fitness center, restaurant and mezzanine.

Hyatt is a 262-room hotel, nestled in the Hollywood Hills along LA's famous 'Sunset Strip'. The Sunset Ballroom and the pool are located on the top floor of the hotel with a panoramic view of the entire city. Located just minutes from Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue, the Hollywood Bowl and Universal Studios, Hyatt West Hollywood also features six meeting rooms accommodating 12 to 220 people. Renovations are due for completion by December 2007.

The designer, Hal Goldstein of architectural firm Janson Goldstein, is bringing his modernist approach to Hyatt and will set a new standard for West Hollywood hotels. Past clients include Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, and Coty. His work can be seen locally at the flagship Casa Armani store in Beverly Hills.
