Alliance Hospitality to Manage San Jose Holiday Inn
San Jose, CA - January 20, 2015 - Alliance Hospitality announced today that it will manage the Holiday Inn located in San Jose, near the Mineta San Jose International Airport. Aju Hotels and Resorts, a subsidiary of Korean company Aju Corporation, recently acquired the property. Rolf Tweeten, Chairman of the Board for Alliance Hospitality, made the announcement.
The San Jose Holiday Inn will be the second US property both owned by Aju Hotels and managed by Alliance Hospitality.
"We're enthused to work with Alliance Hospitality again because of this very successful working relationship that we have built over the past year,” said Jinhee Michell Lee, President of Aju Hotels. “Their assistance in the acquisition process was incredibly integral for Aju's initial investments in the United States. We look forward to growing together with Alliance.”
The newest Holiday Inn in the San Jose area, the hotel is located within one mile of the airport. The property features 354 guestrooms, a full-service restaurant, lobby bar, outdoor heated pool and over 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space. It is close to a variety of restaurants and shopping options and a short distance from downtown.
"The thriving Silicon Valley area is an ideal location for our first full-service hotel in California and this Holiday Inn has many competitive advantages,” said Tweeten. “We plan to leverage its strengths to insure it is a market leader in the greater San Jose region.”
