Lexington Adds PR Manager
APRIL 16, 2007. Vantage Hospitality is pleased to announce the hiring of Melissa Scott as the Public Relations and Account Manager for the Lexington Collection hotel chain.
Scott brings to Vantage Hospitality a successful track record in public and media relations. Prior to joining Vantage Hospitality, she was the Media and Public Relations Director for U.S. Speedskating Federation, where she created unique and prolific PR concepts to promote the sport, its events and athletes worldwide. Scott oversaw the PR efforts for the Federation during the Torino Olympic Games in 2006.
Scott spent 12 years in the public relations, marketing and brand building industry in the United States and Asia. Scott, who speaks five languages, worked in communications for seven winter and spring Olympic Games.
