Red Roof® Names Ted Hutchins as New Chief Information Officer
Leading Upscale Economy® hotel brand Red Roof announces Ted Hutchins
will join the brand as Chief Information Officer. Hutchins brings a
stellar track record in Information Technology (IT) strategy, management
and development, with an extensive resume that includes significant
experience in the hospitality sector.
At Red Roof, Hutchins will be responsible for establishing overall IT
strategy and directing daily IT operations. He will oversee a broad
range of technological advancements for the brand, with a major focus on
self-service development.

Immediately prior to joining Red Roof, Hutchins served as Chief
Information Officer for All Aboard Florida, overseeing their South
Florida-based high-speed rail system Brightline from 2014 to 2018.
Responsibilities included delivering integrated guest experiences,
managing technology buildouts and creating self-healing networks.
Previously, Hutchins was Vice President of Technology at Porter Airlines
from 2011 to 2014, where he facilitated a transition from co-located
data to a 100 percent cloud environment, overhauled guest Wi-Fi to meet
increasing guest expectations and updated station and call center sales
processes to comply with PCI-DSS standards. Hutchins's career also
includes stops at AirTrain Airways, Sabre and US Airways.
