Park Hotels & Resorts Completes $9 Million Transformation of Hilton Short Hills in New Jersey

Hilton Short Hills, a AAA Four Diamond-rated property part of Hilton Hotels and Resort's
fast-growing global portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels, just
placed the finishing touches on a $9 million hotel transformation
project. The renovation includes a modern restoration to create a
hometown-luxury experience of 314 guestrooms and suites, exclusive
Executive Lounge and 16,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. 

The transformation includes a rooftop expansion, with the addition of
The Balcony, an all-new open-air rooftop for weddings and private
events with strung garden lights surrounded by serene woodlands.
Additionally, locals and hotel guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails,
small plates, daily Happy Hour and Thirsty Thursdays with live music,
lounge decor and fire pits at the new Retreat Rooftop.

escape, where families are encouraged to have fun and relax while
corporate and group travellers have the necessary accommodations to get
down to business and enjoy well-deserved retreats,” said John Montano,

able to create a warm residential feel by incorporating a contemporary
greyscale color scheme into sun-drenched rooms, enhancing the natural
beauty of the surrounding woodlands,”

Owner, Park Hotels & Resorts Inc., and defined interior designer,
Bill Rooney Studio Inc., collaborated on the multi-million dollar
renovation keeping the priorities and comfort of all guests at the
forefront of the project. For convenience, 10 double-queen guest rooms
were added to the first guest room floor to specifically accommodate
collegiate and youth sport teams, families and travel groups. These new
guest rooms are exclusively designed with a shower-only bathroom
feature, providing a unique cosmopolitan twist.

Hilton Short Hills provides a full complement of services and extras deserved by the whole family, including Hilton Honors Digital Key guestroom access from your smartphone device, indoor and outdoor pools, 24-hour fitness center, seasonal Retreat Rooftop with Happy Hour, The Balcony event space, tennis courts, vibrant dining venues and complimentary shuttle service to the renowned designer-infused Mall at Short Hills and local corporate park.
