Clayton Members Club & Hotel Appoints Jason Reiplinger as General Manager
Jason Reiplinger has been appointed general manager of Denver's Clayton Members Club & Hotel, where he will oversee the property's 63-room boutique hotel, three public-facing restaurants - Of A Kind, OAK Market and Five Nines - and private membership club, which includes a members' restaurant and bar, as well as a rooftop restaurant with poolside service. Additionally, Eugene Marenya has joined as general manager of Five Nines, Clayton's newly opened immersive craft cocktail bar.
Reiplinger joins Aparium Hotel Group - the operator of Clayton - with more than 20 years of experience, and is a fourth-generation hospitality industry changemaker. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of the property, providing leadership and strategic direction for the members club, food and beverage outlets, guest services, operations and asset management.
"I'm elated to join the Clayton team," said Reiplinger. "I admire the ways in which Clayton has created an intentionally cultivated community, and look forward to continuing to ensure it serves as a home away from home for members, hotel guests and diners."
Reiplinger began his career in Las Vegas, serving in a variety of management roles for food and beverage concepts at properties including Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Wynn Las Vegas, and Bellagio, where he achieved an annual revenue of more than $30 million. He then dove into the world of private membership clubs as the director of food and beverage at The Battery in San Francisco. Prior to joining Clayton, Reiplinger spent several years with California-based Woodside Hotel Group, most recently as managing director at the AAA Four Diamond Bodega Bay Lodge. Reiplinger brings not only a sense of community to Clayton, but also a strong business acumen and proven leadership experience.
Marenya joins the Clayton team with extensive experience in bartending, management, guest services and more. Before relocating to Denver to work under the direction of award-winning bar operator Sean Kenyon at American Bonded, Marenya worked in Hollywood's Hemingway's Lounge, and later, the high volume Supperclub.
Five Nines, which opened Feb. 9, not only brings creative craft cocktail offerings to Denver, curated to be as playful as they are elegant, but also a worldly menu of shareable bar bites and pops of promiscuity in the form of multiple nightly movement-based performances.
"After touring Five Nines prior to opening, I immediately knew I had to be involved," said Marenya. "I couldn't be more excited to lead the team contributing to what I believe is going to be one of the best and most interesting new additions to Denver's cocktail scene."
