Wim Pastoor Named GM Barefoot Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC

PARK CITY, UT, September 21, 2006. Premier Resorts, the Park City, Utah-based resort property management company located in eight states and Mexico, has announced that Wim Pastoor has been appointed General Manager of Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C. (www.barefootresortclub.com). Pastoor brings to the resort more than 25 years of industry experience in hotel management and private and semi-private golf club management, as well as experience opening hotels, resorts and conference centers.

Pastoor will be responsible for the new Barefoot Resort Yacht Club, including its 142-slip marina and Docksider's Grille, which opened last spring at milemarker 354 on the Intercoastal across from Barefoot Landing.

A native of The Netherlands, Pastoor was previously Vice President for Sandcastle Hotels & Resorts where he supervised the operation of all owned and managed properties. Prior to that he directed the successful operations of seaside resorts, convention hotels, executive conference resorts, and country clubs. He has also been a guest speaker at respected industry and educational institutions, and was involved with the Myrtle Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Pastoor attended Stratford College in Virginia, majoring in Commercial Art with a minor in Business.
