IHM Selects Director of Marketing

Kane previous hospitality industry experience included Regional Director for American Hotel Motel Brokers ("AHMB") in Phoenix, AZ, wherein he managed one of the company's fifteen regions. In that capacity, Kane assisted in the sale and purchase of properties, overseeing the full cycle of sales including preparation of financials, creation of marketing documents, price determination, agreement negotiations, financing terms and conditions, escrow requirements and subsequent transfer. During Kane's five-year tenure with AHMB, he successfully developed and launched an E-Commerce policy with the goal of maximizing the existing client base and increasing current market share of AHMB; managed the redesign and launch of AHMB's web site including the launch of AHMB's blog; increased Network Membership; and developed and successfully coordinated the Choice Hotels, Best Western, and The Lodging Conference Convention/Trade shows.
Arizona-licensed Real Estate Agent with an educational background in business and political science at the University of Southern Maine, Kane's previous hospitality industry experience includes a hands-on management style as Vice President of Operations for the Papago Hotels (Best Western) in Scottsdale, AZ and General Manager of the Iron Horse Inn/Travelodge in Durango, CO.
