MARCH 4, 2008. Marriott ExecuStay, the temporary-housing brand of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), announced today that Barbara Shuster has been named senior director of marketing.
Ms. Shuster joined Marriott International in 1998 and has held positions with Avendra, global sales, Marriott Rewards and Marriott Vacation Clubs International. In her various roles Shuster led efforts in sales, training, marketing, product and program development, brand awareness and demand generation.
Prior to joining Marriott, Shuster spent 12 years at Choice Hotels in development, franchise marketing, sales, and new product development. Shuster has an undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Maryland and a MS degree in Marketing from the Carey Business School at The Johns Hopkins University.
