Foxwoods Promotes Robert Chan to SVP, Asian Marketing
DECEMBER 22, 2008 - Foxwoods Resort Casino is proud to announce the promotion of Robert Chan to Senior Vice President, Asian Marketing. Mr. Chan currently holds the position of Vice President, Asian Marketing at Foxwoods Resort Casino and has held that position for the past ten years.
Mr. Chan, with over 28 years of gaming experience to his credit, has held positions in Asian marketing at some of the top resorts around the world including Caesars Palace, the Showboat, Trump Marina and The Sands in Atlantic City. He also has strong connections to the gaming communities in Macau, Hong Kong and Canada. During the course of his career at Foxwoods, Mr. Chan has been responsible for bring in some of the most famous and popular Asian entertainers in the world such as Hacken Lee, Frances Yip, Bak-Cheung Chan, Tsai Chin, Susanna Kwan, Mao Ning and Na Ying. George Lam and Sally Yeh are among the names that will be performing at the new MGM Grand Theater thanks to the relationships that Mr. Chan has within the industry. He is planning on bringing in more high profile performances in the months ahead as we celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year.

Mr. Chan will oversee the introduction of the Rolling Chip program to the casino floors at Foxwoods Resort Casino this December, the first casino in the United States to offer this new Macau style of Customer Rewards and Recognition for the serious table games player. The new program will be available at Baccarat tables in the Club Newport and Stargazer casinos at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
