Crowne Plaza, Fairfield, NJ Refurbished

. January 15, 2009

FAIRFIELD, NJ, January 13, 2009 - The Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, managed by Crestline Hotels and Resorts and owned by an affiliate of True North Management Group, located in Fairfield, New Jersey, today announced it is ringing in the new year with a new look. The 204-room hotel's "re-creation" will feature a new lobby, hotel entrance, restaurant, cyber lounge and bar for its business and group travelers. It is the final stage of the re-creation - that began last year with the upgrade of the hotel's guestrooms and suites and 16,000 square feet of meeting space - and is estimated to be completed by early summer 2009.

The Crowne Plaza Fairfield hotel's redesigned entrance will feature a transitional-styled lobby that will be open and inviting with a newly created library, living room, business center and multiple fireplaces. The new entrance will offer increased access to the hotel's food and beverage outlets that will include a renovated restaurant with an upscale living room, lounge with a cozy fireplace, and a private dining room. The lobby will receive all new tile flooring, wall finishes and furnishings. It will offer a warm and inviting space featuring a color palate of bright oranges, greens and blues set against neutral browns. Moving to the living room, lounge and business center from the lobby, the color palate becomes more subtle and relaxing. To accomplish this, neutral beiges, taupe, deep blue and charcoal gray are used with accents of a rich scarlet red. The hotel's exterior also will be completely renovated and will feature a new color scheme and enhanced landscaping.

"We are excited to be in the final stages of the hotel's re-creation. We offer the area's best meeting facility, quality food and beverage, and incredible customer service. As meeting package experts, we are committed to exceed customer expectations and will guarantee a memorable event," said Sam Oliasami, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center.

In 2008, the Crowne Plaza Fairfield hotel launched its re-creation with a 100 percent upgrade of its guestrooms and suites that included new carpet, drapes, artwork, soft seating, lighting and bathroom enhancements as well as new 32-inch flat screen high definition (HD) TVs, programming and signals (the first hotel in the area to offer the HD signal), an ergonomic desk/chair and work area, and a redesigned coffee/wet bar area. Last month, it also completed the installation of Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. Another distinguishing feature of the hotel is the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage, a premier bedding package that offers seven layers of comfort combined with special amenities for a great night's rest.

In 2008, the Crowne Plaza Fairfield Hotel and Conference Center renovated its 16,000-square feet of meeting space that includes its Grand Ballroom and pre-function areas with new carpet, furnishings and fixtures. The five-story hotel is an ideal location for meetings, weddings and social events.

"Our hotel is a destination of choice among meeting planners, corporate business and wedding planners. We are pleased that business has remained brisk throughout our re-creation," added Oliasami. "We are confident that our new meeting/banquet and restaurant facilities, coupled with exceptional customer service, will continue to distinguish the Crowne Plaza Fairfield Hotel and Conference Center as the premier group hotel in the northern New Jersey business corridor."

The Crowne Plaza Fairfield Hotel and Conference Center (formerly the Radisson Hotel And Suites Fairfield) offers complimentary, wireless Internet, an indoor pool and health club. It is located at 690 Route 46 East in northern New Jersey and situated in the heart of Essex County's corporate community just bordering Morris County. The hotel has easy access to I-80, New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Newark Penn Station, I-280 and is 21 miles from Newark International Airport, and within easy access to New York City, Giants Stadium, Empire State Building and the Meadowlands.
