Tim Cepek Named GM Holiday Inn Express at O'Hare

CHICAGO, IL, February 23, 2009 - Tim Cepek has been named General Manager of the new, five-story, 135-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chicago Airport West - O'Hare in Hillside, IL by S&L Hospitality, management company and co-developer. Cepek will be responsible for the overall successful operation of the new hotel, scheduled to open in March.

Cepek has a wealth of management and operational experience, including more than 15 years in the hospitality industry. A resident of Schaumburg, Illinois Cepek is actively involved in the business community. Most recently, he served on the opening management team as Assistant General Manager of the 127-room AmerSuites conversion to Hyatt Place Hotel in Schaumburg, IL. His extensive management experience includes The Fitzpatrick Hotel in Chicago, the Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center in Oak Brook, IL., and he also served on the opening management team of The Westin Savannah Harbor Resort in Savannah, Georgia.

Scheduled to open in March, the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located at 200 South Manheim Road, in Hillside, IL., and is part of a new 32-acre mixed-use development project located off Interstate 290. The property joins other businesses also preparing to open in the weeks and months to come, including Super Target, Petco, Staples, Michaels, Panda Express and more.
