Wyndham Anatole Hotel Unveils New Tower Renovations
Dallas' Legendary Hotel Opens New Concierge Lounge, Refurbishes Wedgwood Ballroom and Opens New Dall
DALLAS, TX, November 28, 2005. The Wyndham Anatole, Dallas' legendary hotel, announces the unveiling of its $3.5 million renovations. Along with the hotel's additional world-class amenities, guests can now look forward to pampered privacy with a new concierge lounge, beautiful events in the classic, newly-renovated Wedgwood ballroom, as well as enjoying cocktails in the chic, new Gossip bar.
"With the recent successful addition of the West Wing meeting space, we wanted to continue the enhancement of the tower area of the hotel," said Tom Faust, vice president of sales and marketing for the Wyndham Anatole Hotel. "The completion of our new tower renovations is part of our commitment to continually provide legendary experiences to our guests and Dallas residents."
The hotel's new concierge lounge, a three quarters of a million dollar project, provides concierge floor guests private registration and departure services, exclusive concierge services as well as complimentary Continental breakfast each morning and cocktails and hors d'ouevres in the evening. Guests can relax while enjoying entertainment on one of three flat screen televisions or the breathtaking, panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. The concierge floor also features an in-house sound system as well as wired and wireless Internet access.
Named after the hotel's extensive Wedgwood art collection, the 4,620 sq. ft. Wedgwood ballroom received a magnificent renovation which compliments the displayed, collection of ceramic Jasperware pieces with detailed features such as Wedgwood inspired, blue fabric wall treatments, custom, detailed carpeting, a granite stairway and distinctively crafted ivory molding. The Wedgwood ballroom, one of the hotel's most distinguished catering spaces and the site of many of Dallas' premiere social events and weddings, continues to be a classic for these and other VIP events.
Located in the hotel's tower lobby, the Wyndham Anatole has added a new bar, Gossip, which welcomes both Dallas locals and hotel guests. Named after The Gossips, a bronze sculpture by Bjorn Winblad which is part of the hotel's private art collection and rests near the entrance of the new bar, the $2 million addition was designed by Dallas-based firm Morrison Seifert Murphy. With rich, red, and related hues and a contemporary styling, Gossip features a dramatic and impressive forward-looking, design and d'ecor. Patrons can enjoy martinis, wines and hors d'ouevres while seated atop plush couches and loveseats as dramatic evening lighting highlights the signature, striking red ceiling. From the cigar patio, yet another intimate setting awaits. Guests can choose from a select cigar menu as they enjoy the evening's sunset over the seven-acre Anatole sculpture garden, home to a variety of art pieces including two sections of the Berlin Wall. Gossip offers complimentary valet parking.
