Another Brit for Five-Star Hotel

BOSTON, MA, June 28, 2006. This week, General Manager Bill Taylor, takes the top seat at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. Taylor, formerly general manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Chicago (a Four Seasons Hotel), moves to Boston upon the retirement of General Manager and Vice President Peter O'Colmain.

During his 14-year career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Taylor established a reputation for hands-on management, excellent business acumen and a natural sense for guest relations. As general manager of the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, he oversaw 600 employees and 435 guestrooms in one of the country's top-rated hotels during a multi-million dollar renovation while garnering the prestigious Mobil Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond ratings. Taylor also held senior management positions at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago and Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. Before joining Four Seasons, the Newcastle, England native worked in various front of house roles at hotels in Europe and the Caribbean.
