Marilyn Cafone Elected VP of Mid-Jersey Chapter of HFTP

LIVINGSTON, NJ, August 14, 2006. Marilyn Cafone, controller of the luxury Four-Diamond Westminster Hotel in Livingston, N.J., has been elected vice president of the Mid-Jersey Chapter of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP).

HFTP is an international professional association for those who work in the financial and technology end of the hospitality industry. Formed in 1952, it has more than 4,600 members around the world. Cafone's one-year term as vice president of the Mid-Jersey Chapter goes into effect on October 1, 2006.

"Marilyn has been very involved in our organization and has always been willing to step up and take on responsibility," said Wendy Baker, current president of the HFTP Mid-Jersey Chapter. "We have more than 100 members, and Marilyn's job will be to work hand-in-hand with the incoming president to help in the educational, networking and charitable events organized by our chapter."

Cafone has been controller of the 183-room, award-winning Westminster Hotel for three years, overseeing the entire financial operation of the 4-year-old property. She has more than 10 years of experience in the hotel industry and has been a member of HFTP for three years.
