Tedd Saunders Talks Green Hospitality Trends at Lenox
BOSTON, MA, July 15, 2009 - The Lenox Hotel, flagship of Saunders Hotel Group, is rolling out the green carpet on July 20 and 21 with a media tour of Heaven on Eleven hosted by Tedd Saunders. In partnership with PURE, The Lenox is now the only hotel in all Boston to boast an entire hypo-allergenic floor on its property.
Unlike today, hoteliers weren't thinking "green" in the late 1980's. But one was a lone voice in the wilderness.
Tedd Saunders, Co-Owner of The Lenox Hotel and President of EcoLogical Solutions, was on the forefront of the green movement (far before it became trendy) when he helped introduce the nation's first linen recycle program.
Now, in that same spirit of innovative green actions, The Lenox takes another first step by creating its "Heaven on Eleven" floor. Mr. Saunders will share why the hotel chose to add PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms and share his insights on future trends in greening of the world's largest industry - travel and tourism.
