Aston Maui Lu Announces New General Manager
HONOLULU, HI - June 30, 2010 - Aston Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce that Cathy O'Donohue has been appointed general manager of the Aston Maui Lu.
O'Donohue is responsible for overseeing all operations at the Aston Maui Lu. She has 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including hotel and restaurant operations on Maui.
She most recently served as the general manager of the Maui Sunseeker Hotel in Kihei. Her background also includes managing nearly 300 Maui and Oahu units as a property manager with Cirrus Asset Management Inc., and positions at Roy's in Kahana, Maui, and at multiple Wolfgang Puck locations in Las Vegas.
One of South Maui's best beachfront values, Aston Maui Lu is conveniently located on 28 lush acres in the beautiful Kihei area along the southwestern shore of Maalaea Bay. A year-long project was completed in fall 2009 that introduced a fresh new look at the beachfront resort, including improvements to the reception area, oceanfront guest rooms and the famous Maui-shaped swimming pool. The resort is also home to a historic coconut grove and several secluded beach coves, giving the property a nostalgic Hawaiian feel.
