Choice Hotels International Names Louise Slark VP, Compensation and Benefits
SILVER SPRING, MD - June 21, 2012 - Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) recently announced that it has named Louise Slark to vice president, compensation and benefits. Ms. Slark will report to Patrick Cimerola, senior vice president, human resources and administration.
In this position, Ms. Slark will lead the organization's companywide compensation and benefits program, including comprehensive health and welfare benefits and incentive compensation programs among other elements.
"Louise brings a wealth of strategic knowledge to this new role, as well as a collaborative spirit of leadership and expertise in process improvement," said Cimerola. "Her background and experience makes her an ideal candidate for this position; and I'm confident that she will be a valuable contributor to the organization."
Ms. Slark joins Choice Hotels International with more than 20 years of experience in compensation and benefit plans as well as human resources information technology. Most recently, she served as senior director of total rewards and HR systems for Neustar, Inc., a technology and information services company headquartered in Sterling, Va. Her background also includes experience at RSM McGladrey, Inc., Verizon Communications, Bell Atlantic, Ernst & Young and KPMG.
Ms. Slark received her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in accounting from Towson State University. She is also a WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional and National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) member.
