In this position, Gum will provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the strategic goals of the resort.
Boasting more than 22 years of hotel sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, Gum recently held the role of Director of National Sales at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where she was responsible for developing and cultivating new accounts, creating and implementing quarterly sales & marketing plans, in addition to achieving an annual sales production of $12M. Gum also successfully maintained and built client relationships, negotiated sales contracts on a continual basis within all levels of corporation and organizations, while strengthening her expertise with strong negotiation skills to overcome objections, excellent communication with internal team members and successful maintenance of annual budgets.
