Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center Adds Two New Directors to Property's Management Team
BEND, OR. - June 2, 2015. Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center, a unique full-service hotel and Central Oregon's largest convention center, overlooking the picturesque Deschutes River, has hired Erick Trachsel as Director of Sales and Moe Elwefati as Director of Food and Beverage.

"Erick is a results-oriented salesperson with more than 10 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, including two years with the Riverhouse as the Director of National Accounts. We are also happy to welcome back Moe to our team and look forward to his involvement with the pending renovation of our Crossings Restaurant."
Trachsel joins the Riverhouse from the Doubletree Hotel, where he has served as Director of Sales for the past three years. He has also worked with Sunriver Resort and the Sheraton Inn. Trachsel received a bachelor's degree in finance from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.
Elwefati was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage for the Hilton in Eugene, Ore. He has more than 30 years of hotel and restaurant experience across the country and has worked with the Red Lion, Hyatt Regency, Riverhouse Hotel, Bonneville Hot Spring Resort & Spa, Hilton Bellevue and Specialty Restaurants Inc. Elwefati has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Southern Colorado.
