CHICAGO, IL, April 5, 2007. Andre brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to this position. He began his career in 1982 at Hotel Hilton Kensington, London, England. In 1984 he joined Inter-Continental Hotels as Sous Chef, Hotel Inter-Continental, Berlin, Germany and since then has held several progressive positions including Restaurant Chef, Hotel Inter-Continental, Dusseldorf, West Germany and Executive Sous Chef, Hotel Inter-Continental, Toronto.

In 1991 Andre transferred to The Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental Hotel, San Francisco where he was appointed Executive Chef - Food & Beverage and in 1995 he was promoted to Director, Food & Beverage. In 2000 Andre was appointed Director, Food & Beverage Operations, Inter-Continental & Crowne Plaza Hotels, New York.

Later that year Andre joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as Director, Food & Beverage, The Fairmont Chicago and in 2005 he was appointed to his most recent position as Hotel Manager. Andre holds a Professional Masters Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Chamber of Commerce and Industries in D"usseldorf, Germany.
