Aparium Hotel Group Appoints Angela Kuzma as Corporate Director of Food and Beverage
CHICAGO - December 24, 2015 - Aparium Hotel Group (615 W. Randolph St.), leaders in the development, management, and marketing of nationwide independent hotel properties, today announces a new addition to the food and beverage team. Angela Kuzma joins the group as the new corporate director of food and beverage, bringing with her over 20 years of marketing and hospitality experience. As part of her new appointment, Kuzma is focusing on developing and supporting the food and beverage strategy for each hotel property, aligning with Aparium's company pillars of translocal hospitality, intuitive service, and collaborative culture.
A self-proclaimed "travel maven" with over 44 countries under her belt, Kuzma loves the art and science of cooking and brings her passion for sustainability to the tables of Aparium Hotel Group's property restaurants, bars and outlets. Two decades of hospitality experience in some of the nation's top restaurants and hotels including her own 5oz. Factory - a grilled cheese and custard shop awarded "Breakout Brand" by Nation's Restaurant News - has provided her with the inspiration and dedication needed to lead the group's food and beverage operations.
Following her work alongside New Orleans award-winning Chef Richard Hughes and James Beard Winner Chef Mark Militello in South Florida, Kuzma honed her skills in marketing, catering, hotel management, and food and beverage operations for multi-outlet hospitality groups like Republic in USQ, The Fireman Group, China Grill Management, The Gansevoort Hotel, Empire Hotel, Morgan's Hotel Group and the trendy Soho House NY. To this day, her proudest work experience was time spent interning at Emiliana, a bio dynamic winery in Chile, following a solo back-pack expedition through Central and South America and Europe.
