Revival at The Kimpton Sawyer Hotel Welcomes Brian Crawford as General Manager of Food and Beverage
The Kimpton Sawyer is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Crawford as general manager of food and beverage. In his new role, Crawford will be responsible for leading the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel's food and beverage team, in-room dining and catering efforts, in addition to overseeing operations at the hotel's rooftop restaurant and bar, Revival at the Sawyer. As Sacramento's first rooftop lounge, Revival features a selection of locally inspired cocktails, mocktails and small bites, overlooking stunning views of Downtown Commons and the Golden 1 Center.
Bringing more than seven years of culinary expertise to the Kimpton Sawyer and having deep experience driving operations of multiple dining outlets, including chef-driven restaurants, rooftop bars and banquets, Crawford is well positioned to lead the hotel's stand-out dining concept and catering efforts. Crawford joins Revival from Kimpton Hotel Vintage and Kimpton Hotel Monaco, where he served as area general manager of restaurants and bars for the two properties. While there, Crawford created dynamic food and beverage packages and developed partnerships with local businesses to enhance the culinary experience for guests.

This holiday season, the Kimpton Sawyer will be debuting their very own "Ultimate Festive Igloo Experience"—the only one of its kind in Sacramento. Five igloos will be launching at the hotel's stunning Magnolia Terrace on December 17, accommodating up to six guests comfortably for an intimate festive celebration. Styled by local decorator Celebrations, each dome features plush sofas, relaxing armchairs, and hints of holiday flare, perfectly complementing stunning views of the Sacramento skyline.
At $50 per person, the price includes a complimentary hand selected bottle of red, white or sparkling wine. To complete the experience, guests will be able to advance order small bites such as Oysters, Crispy Confit Duck Wings and Warm Brie crafted by the talented culinary team at Revival. Also, guests will be able to sip on curated cocktails created in collaboration with the lead bartenders at sister property, La Peer Hotel in Los Angeles.
