Las Alcobas Mexico City Appoints Managing Director Michaël Chiche
Las Alcobas, the iconic luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Mexico City's vibrant Polanco district, announces the appointment of Michaël Chiche as Managing Director. In this role, Chiche is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the luxury property, including the intimate Aurora Spa and the hotel's signature restaurant, Anatol. Together with Las Alcobas founder and CEO they will work on the brand's expansion.
Michaël Chiche comes to Las Alcobas with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry. He forged his experience with renowned brands such as Aman in early 2000 and worked in some iconic properties, most recently at Las Ventanas Al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, in Los Cabos, Mexico. He also previously served as part of the opening task force for Alila Napa Valley in California, and prior to that was the General Manager at Las Alcobas for 10 years. During his tenure, Las Alcobas gained commendable accolades, including being named as Marriott's Hotel of the Year and ranking as the #1 hotel in Mexico City on TripAdvisor since September 2011.

Originally from Nice, France, Chiche earned both a management and accounting degree from College A. Calmette and a hotel management degree from Hotelier College Paul Augier. He is fluent in four languages and enjoys spending his free time reading, training, rowing and hiking.
