Windsor Hospitality Group Starts Renovations at the Embassy Suites, Bellevue

. October 14, 2008

BELLEVUE, WA, November 29, 2005. This week, as local temperatures slope in their seasonal descent, Windsor Hospitality Group turns its focus inward and begins an extensive renovation campaign at their Embassy Suites Bellevue. They have a specific plan and time line, their timing will work to their advantage and they have a very good relationship with the contractor they have engaged to do the work. By early spring 2006, this property will be in full bloom.

It has been only seven years since WHG the last time they did renovation work on this property. They replaced all of the soft goods just six years ago. However, this renovation campaign will improve the entire hotel.

"WHG is completely renovating the hotel's 240 rooms and has committed to redesigning the first floor common areas," says Director of Sales Kristen McCallen. "Included in those, we will redo our atrium, restaurant, banquet space and lobby. This campaign's total costs will be upward of $5 million."

The guest room renovations are scheduled to begin at the end of this month, McCallen says. They will begin work on the atrium and other areas in January. WHG anticipates completing this work in April 2006.

"We believe this is the best time of year to star this campaign," says McCallen. "Our peak season is in the summer months, but now our volume of business is such that we can afford to focus our attention on our renovations with minimal inconvenience to our guests."

"We will renovate each area in phases so that the hotel's event facilities

and designated guestroom areas will still be usable throughout the process." By the time their business starts to increase with the favorable temperatures, she says, the hotel will be finished and prepared to accommodate their area business.

Although such work on a property can notoriously take six months longer than expected, WHG has engaged an experienced contractor with whom they have worked in the past. They are confident the job will be well-executed and completed on schedule.

Overall, WHG's renovation plans and schedule for their Embassy Suites Bellevue look like they will create a win/win situation for the company and their guests. As McCallen says, "We'll keep you posted."
