Bolongo Bay Beach Club St. Thomas, Introduces 'CRUZAN CULTURAL' Add-on Package to St. Croix
ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (June 20, 2005) - In an effort to expand guests' experience in the "American Paradise," Bolongo Bay Beach Club, located in St. Thomas, is offering guests the opportunity to take a daytrip to St. Croix, one of St. Thomas' sister islands, as part of its new Cruzan Cultural add-on package.
"St. Thomas is an exciting destination with beautiful beaches, superb shopping and great attractions, but we also have many guests who are interested in exploring the U.S. Virgin Islands beyond our shores, so we created the Cruzan Cultural package to St. Croix to meet this need," said Richard J. "It's important for us to promote and support our sister islands and through the Cruzan Cultural package we anticipate driving business to St. Croix," he added.
The Cruzan Cultural add-on package costs $190 per person and is available to all guests staying at Bolongo. Features of the Cruzan Cultural option include the following:
Roundtrip transfers from Bolongo to Seaborne Airlines on St. Thomas
Roundtrip tickets between St. Thomas and St. Croix aboard Seaborne Airlines
An island tour of St. Croix provided by Safari Tours, which includes stops in Christiansted and admission to historic Estate Whim Plantation, the Cruzan Rum Factory, and St. George Village Botanical Gardens
Lunch in Frederiksted followed by a drive through the rainforest, past Carambola golf course and Columbus landing.
Vacationers who prefer to sightsee on their own can substitute the island tour and lunch option with a one-day Avis car rental, which can be picked up where the Seaplane docks. The staff will provide maps and information about the Heritage Trail so guests can venture out on their own. Prices for this option of the Cruzan Cultural package are $170 for the first person and $130 for each extra person (max. 4 people in a car).
The Cruzan Cultural package can be added on to a stay at Bolongo and is available now through Dec. 15, 2005.
