. October 14, 2008

JANUARY 19, 2007. Heather Dinovo has joined IAHI, the Owners' Association of Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), as its new membership manager.

In this key role within the 51-year-old association, Dinovo reports directly to IAHI President Eva Ferguson. She is responsible for managing all membership programs, including establishing effective sales plans to increase IAHI membership and revenues.

"Heather's background in the hotel industry and the IHG system, as well as her understanding of the importance of membership to an organization like the IAHI, makes her ideally suited for our membership manager position," Ferguson says. "She can quickly step into this role and respond to the needs of our franchisees across the globe."

Prior to joining the IAHI, Dinovo was a Hotel Performance Support (HPS) Consultant with IHG, where she worked directly with the HPS Operations team and handled numerous responsibilities. In this role, Dinovo developed the process for the HPS Operations team to complete the follow-up calls for all visits to hotels by IHG area managers. She joined IHG in 2005 in the position of hotel performance support coordinator. Dinovo is an honors graduate from the University of Georgia in Athens, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.
