UNCASVILLE, CT, March 27, 2007. Continuing its reign as the Northeast's premier gaming, entertainment, meeting, dining and shopping destination, Mohegan Sun's 34-story hotel tower is undergoing a $13.8 million refurbishment after only five years of opening its doors. As of June, all 1,200 guestrooms and suites will be completely upgraded.

All guestrooms and hallways will be freshly carpeted and beds will be fitted with new Simmons Health Smart plush pillow-top mattresses and tuxedo-stripped linens. All furnishings will be replaced and bathrooms refitted. Renovations are taking place floor by floor to ensure minimal disruptions to Mohegan Sun guests. The bed linens, including pillow sham, coverlet, bed skirts and bolster pillow, as well as the shower curtains have been furnished by Los-Angeles-based bedding manufacturer - Matteo.

"At Mohegan Sun, we strive for every element of the property to be a winning experience for our guests," commented Mitchell Etess, President and CEO of Mohegan Sun. "The latest enhancements to the guestrooms will only heighten our appeal as one of the country's pre-eminent casinos."
