Kevin Rupert Appointed Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for Cendant's Wyndham Brand
PARSIPPANY, NJ, November 29, 2005. Cendant Hotel Group today announced the appointment of Kevin Rupert as vice president of marketing and strategy for Wyndham Worldwide, responsible for developing strategies for the hotel chain, facilitating its loyalty marketing, e-commerce, national branding and business-to-business marketing functions and providing marketing support to its nearly 100 hotels.
Rupert previously served Cendant Hotel Group as vice president of brand marketing and strategy, responsible for developing its strategic marketing plan as well as marketing strategies for its eight lodging brands. He also oversaw franchise sales marketing and product innovation efforts.

From 2004 to 2005, Rupert was vice president of strategy and development, responsible for developing and leading the Hotel Group's strategic planning process. He also worked on the formulation of its marketing strategy and helped develop positioning statements for each of its hotel brands. He joined the company as senior director, brand strategy, in 2002.
In 2000, Rupert founded Reality Marketing Solutions in Fairfield, Conn., which developed business and marketing strategies for a broad range of clients including MasterCard. From 1997 to 2000 he was worldwide director of marketing planning, brand management and communications for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y.
From 1995 to 1996 Rupert served Physicians' Online in Tarrytown, N.Y., as director of business development. He worked for Revlon Worldwide Consumer Products in New York from 1991 to 1995 as marketing manager, United States, and senior manager, international markets. He began his career in 1986 with Greenwich Associates, a research and consulting firm.
Rupert received his master's degree in international business and marketing from New York University's Stern School of Business and his bachelor's degree in business administration from City University of New York's Baruch College.
